I'm very happy with my AC180 and it has lived up to the task it was bought for.

Good for the Small Things - User Manual Pathetic so is Foreign Call Centre

I purchased this as a backup for my CPAP machine. It chews through the battery each night on AC by a reduction of 18% of battery power per night, which is horrifying. I was hoping it would sustain me for at least 7 nights which it definitely will not. I've had to resort to using the CPAP 12V adaptor run through the DC outlet which uses almost one third of the power (6-8% of the battery p/night) than the AC does. One of the two flimsy clips holding the folded Solar Panel SP200L broke on the first day, so now I'm wrapping it together with Velcro. I've joined the Community Forum to find out if I really need the APP or not, can't find any information regarding having to or not having to have the APP. For me the less APPS the better, less likely to be exposed to cyber attack or data breach.

Without the APP I don't know how many Volts or Amps are being used, I can only see the input and output of Watts. Also the WiFi charging from the top of the unit doesn't work probably because I haven't got the App to turn it on. There's absolutely NO INFORMATION in the User Manual [which is the shortest UM I've ever seen] about how to use the Bluetti AC180??????? So many things I don't know and I would like to ask questions but I just don't want to speak to anybody in that bloody call centre again who have probably never used the product, they don't listen or understand, and I get sick of repeating myself and find it hard to understand what they are saying as well. If I was to buy again, I'd go for a product with an Aussie Call Center just for the ease of understanding instead of going round and round in circles getting frustrated.
I'm happy enough with my Bluetti AC180 with SP200L solar panels which are rated at 200 Watt but on fine sunny midday sun in Qld the max I can only generate from the panel is only 140W going into the Bluetti (however I'm using Bluetti's 10m solar cable). Oh just a quick point about that, it's not just one cable, it's two a red one and a black one. Just the thing we all want to wrestle with each day two separate cables going their own separate ways for 10 metres, bloody rediculous. I just wish I could talk to somebody about whether I really need the App or not as I'm not finding anything helpful in the Community Forum. I haven't had any problems with my Bluetti AC180, but its only been just over a week since I've received it. I've tried running a few things individually on it just to see what power they absorb and tally a list. Without the APP it's a dumb Bluetti and I am happy with that, I'm dumb too but if I know what Watts are going in and out and the Bluetti lets me know what charge is left in the battery I think we'll be just fine being on the Dumb side. My aim is to only use the 50% of the battery then recharge, that's in a perfect world where I've got sun or electricity to recharge. I hope this review helps someone who is looking to purchase something like this. PS Individually - It has run my Laptop for 3 to 4 hrs but chewed through the battery, I ran my Hair 143L Freezer for a few hours, ran my Samsung 2 door fridge freezer for a few hours. And during this time I had each individual item (only one at a time) drawing power I had the solar chucking in power and after a few hours I got to 100% fully charged. That was a special moment.
I'd give the Bluetti AC180 & Solar SP200L 5 stars, but poor customer service, poor User Manual and user guidance lets the whole product down. They are quick to promote Bluetti special features, but lack in educating people on how to use them.

How many people agree with me, let's see.

Arrived quickly and well boxed, as this is my 2nd Bluetti I was confident this would not disappoint, charged up fast from 240v and then test powered my caravan which it proved capable of briefly running everything, excepting the a/c which I didn't try as I have huge battery & inverter for that. So passed all my tests the only downside is alternator charging which is very slow approx 100w. I've initially worked around this with an inverter on my 2nd battery in my 200 cruiser. So maybe a charger 1 in the future. I am happy with this purchase some great deals around at this time, would have gone for the larger model which is a bargain at the run out price but we are weight limited so maybe when I upgrade to an American ute?

This appears to be a very good item. Has quite a few charging outlets which are easy to get to. The only thing missing is a jump starter 175Amp outlet like some other battery packs have. But that's OK I have Battery jumpstarters anyway from another company I buy things from. Just waiting for the charger device to put into my car for when we are travelling. It has numerous charging cables so won't be an issue. Bought it for mainly travelling and for power failures as well to supplement my petrol generator that I use for the fridge and internet access. This will allow me to have a light and the TV as well for a few hours. Very happy overall. It is a bit heavier than I thought it would be. Think it has an AGM battery in it not lithium might be wrong on that can't remember from the operating manual or the website description. Would I buy again, yes in a heart beat but maybe a bigger size. I can always buy another addon battery if I need too. I highly recommend this product and business.
